The Sea Treasure Liveaboard Egypt is a 47-meter steel yacht built in 2025 for up to 36 guests in 18 cabins, while every single cabin sits above sea level. Moreover, four suites have their own private Jacuzzi, so she reads more like a boutique hotel than a traditional safari boat.
First of all, M/Y Sea Treasure was built in 2025 and sails her first season in 2026, so she sets a new standard for Egyptian safari boats. Furthermore, her 47-meter steel hull and 10-meter beam were designed for long open-water crossings.
Unlike traditional liveaboards, she places every guest cabin above sea level. Consequently, each of the 18 cabins has natural light, a window onto the water and a private en-suite bathroom.
Besides that, four Jacuzzi suites take the comfort a step further. In addition, a large open-air Jacuzzi sits on the sun deck for everyone else to use.
Naturally, the accommodation sits well away from the engine room, the compressors and the main social areas. Therefore the cabins stay noticeably quieter than usual, even during night crossings.
Meanwhile, three Bauer compressors and two large diving speedboats support the daily program. As a result, the crew keeps four dives a day running without long waits at the tank racks.
Above all, she suits divers who want serious Red Sea itineraries without giving up space. For this reason she also works well for photographers, dive clubs and full private charters.
18 cabins above sea level — all en-suite, with individual air conditioning, sea views and personal storage.
Four private Jacuzzi suites — cabins 1, 2, 9 and 10 each have their own Jacuzzi.
Separate restaurant and salon — meals never interrupt briefings, reading or camera work.
Jacuzzi on the sun deck — an open-air hot tub with uninterrupted views across the reef.
Professional dive deck — numbered stations, camera rinse tanks, Nitrox and two speedboats.
Safety first — life rafts, AED, satellite communication, a trained crew and full briefings.
47 meters · 36 guests · 18 cabins
M/Y Sea Treasure is a 47-meter steel Red Sea diving liveaboard built in 2025, with a 10-meter beam, five decks and 18 en-suite cabins for up to 36 guests, all positioned above sea level. In addition, she carries four private Jacuzzi suites, an open-air sun-deck Jacuzzi, three Bauer compressors, two diving speedboats and Nitrox for certified divers, and she sails Egyptian diving safaris from Hurghada. Red Sea Diving, a Hurghada-based operator working in the Egyptian Red Sea since 2000, runs the vessel. Finally, prices start from €1,600 per person for a seven-night safari, while marine park and port fees are charged separately.
Because quality rest matters as much as the diving, every cabin is a quiet, climate-controlled retreat with its own bathroom. Notably, not one guest cabin sits below the waterline.
Firstly, cabins 1, 2, 9 and 10 measure roughly 5 × 3 meters and include a private Jacuzzi. Moreover, each suite has a large bed about 2 meters wide and wide sea views.
Meanwhile, cabins 15 and 16 are spacious sun-deck suites with a large bed and generous windows. In addition, their elevated position keeps them close to the outdoor areas.
Besides those, twelve twin cabins carry two separate beds for dive partners, friends and solo travelers sharing. Furthermore, all of them look out onto the water.
The 18 cabins sit across three accommodation decks, while the high deck carries the shared Jacuzzi and the open relaxation area. Meanwhile, the lower deck holds the restaurant and service areas only, which is why no guest sleeps below the waterline.
| Deck | Cabins | Number | Category | Private Jacuzzi | Price per person |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High deck | — | — | Outdoor relaxation area with shared Jacuzzi | Shared | — |
| Sun deck | 9–10 | 2 | Jacuzzi suites | Yes | €1,880 |
| Sun deck | 11–14 | 4 | Sea-view twin cabins | No | On request |
| Sun deck | 15–16 | 2 | Sea-view suites | No | €1,800 |
| Upper deck | 17–18 | 2 | Sea-view twin cabins | No | On request |
| Main deck | 1–2 | 2 | Jacuzzi suites, about 5 × 3 m | Yes | €1,880 |
| Main deck | 3–8 | 6 | Sea-view twin cabins | No | €1,600 |
| Lower deck | — | — | Restaurant and service area | — | — |
| Total | 1–18 | 18 | All cabins above water level | 4 private | — |
Of course, every cabin includes individually controlled air conditioning, a private en-suite bathroom, personal storage and towels. Additionally, the crew services the cabins daily throughout the week.
Naturally, prices are per person, based on shared occupancy for seven nights on board. However, single occupancy, charters and group rates are always quoted individually.
| Category | Cabin numbers | Deck | Price per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jacuzzi suite | 1, 2, 9 and 10 | Main and sun deck | €1,880 |
| Suite | 15 and 16 | Sun deck | €1,800 |
| Sea-view twin | 3–8 | Main deck | €1,600 |
| Twin cabin | 11–14 and 17–18 | Sun and upper deck | On request |
Cabins 3 to 8 give you the best value while keeping a sea view and a bathroom of your own. Meanwhile, cabins 15 and 16 add suite space in a quieter sun-deck position.
The four Jacuzzi suites are the obvious choice for couples, because they combine the largest layout on board with private relaxation after the last dive. In contrast, dive partners usually prefer a twin cabin.
Naturally, the vessel works as a floating boutique hotel between dives. Therefore each indoor and outdoor area is planned so that your surface intervals genuinely support the next dive.
Firstly, a separate dining room keeps the salon free for briefings and camera work. Moreover, the kitchen team serves fresh buffets and a three-course dinner every evening.
Meanwhile, the climate-controlled salon hosts briefings, marine-life talks and photo reviews. In addition, it doubles as the quiet place to sit out a windy afternoon.
Similarly, open loungers and deep shade sit side by side on the top deck. Consequently, you can follow the sun or escape it without moving far.
Finally, the open-air Jacuzzi looks straight out over the reef. As a result, tired muscles recover while the sun drops behind the coast.
Naturally, underwater photographers get a dedicated dry workspace with 220V and USB charging points. Furthermore, camera-only rinse tanks keep housings away from general dive gear, and air is available for drying ports and seals.
Firstly, every diver receives a numbered station for the whole week, with a cylinder position and an equipment box underneath. Therefore the deck stays clear even when 36 divers are kitting up.
Secondly, two large speedboats with boarding ladders carry divers to entry points, collect them after surfacing and reach reefs the main vessel cannot safely approach. Meanwhile, the crew handles cylinders and heavy gear during transfers.
Of course, Nitrox is available for appropriately certified divers. However, you must analyze your own cylinder, confirm the oxygen percentage, mark it, record the analysis and respect the maximum operating depth.
Finally, groups are formed by certification, logged dives, recent experience and comfort in current. Nevertheless, the guide ratio may reach up to eight divers per guide, subject to route requirements and regulations.
Above all, the vessel follows contemporary Red Sea liveaboard safety protocols. For this reason she carries current navigation, communication and emergency equipment alongside a trained crew and professional dive guides.
Firstly, the boat carries a complete emergency inventory. Moreover, every item is checked and maintained before departure.
Of course, equipment alone is not enough. Therefore the crew works to a documented plan and briefs every guest before the trip begins.
Naturally, all guests must attend the boat safety briefing and follow the instructions of the captain, cruise director, guides and crew. Furthermore, the captain holds final authority over navigation, sailing and operational safety. Finally, you can read more about how we work on our diving safety page.
Firstly, the captain and engineering team regularly inspect the engines, generators, electrical systems and compressors. Moreover, the vessel undergoes scheduled servicing and the inspections required by the relevant Egyptian authorities.
In addition, she carries GPS, radar, a depth sounder, AIS and VHF marine radio. Consequently, the captain can monitor the route, the weather and sea conditions throughout the journey.
Naturally, every trip begins with a complete boat and emergency briefing. Furthermore, before each dive the guides explain the site, the currents, entry and exit procedures, maximum depth and the emergency plan.
Divers must present valid certification and diving insurance. In addition, Nitrox users must personally analyze their cylinder, set their computer correctly and sign the Nitrox log.
Our captain, crew and dive guides have long experience navigating and diving in the Red Sea. Therefore they review emergency, rescue, fire and evacuation procedures regularly.
However, the captain may change the itinerary, delay sailing or cancel a dive whenever weather or sea conditions are unsafe. After all, no dive site is more important than the safety of our guests and crew.
Above all, your safety and comfort are our highest priorities. Moreover, M/Y Sea Treasure is fully insured against marine accidents and operates in accordance with Egyptian maritime safety regulations.
In addition, the yacht carries essential safety and emergency equipment, while the professional crew receives regular training to handle emergencies efficiently. Therefore, before departure, all guests receive a complete safety briefing for a safe and enjoyable Red Sea journey.
However, please note that the insurance of the yacht does not replace personal travel and diving insurance. For this reason, all divers should hold valid cover for scuba diving, medical treatment, emergency evacuation and hyperbaric chamber treatment.
Notably, she can operate all eight of Egypt’s best-known itineraries. However, the exact route and dive-site order always depend on the departure port, weather, currents, guest experience and official permissions.
Notably, wreck diving at Abu Nuhas pairs with coral walls at Careless Reef and sheltered lagoons full of reef fish.
See the North route
In particular, the northern wrecks combine with the Sinai coast and the dive sites around Dahab.
See North & Dahab
Similarly, this week blends northern wrecks with the offshore walls of the Brothers Islands.
See North & Brothers
Namely, Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone in one offshore week for experienced divers.
See the BDE route
Meanwhile, remote Daedalus Reef pairs with the sheltered coral gardens of Fury Shoals.
See Daedalus & Fury Shoals
In addition, untouched reefs, caves, tunnels and coral gardens sit close to the Sudanese border.
See Deep South
Above all, this is an expedition week for divers who want rarely visited southern reef systems.
See the Elba route
Finally, a calm southern lagoon known for spinner dolphins, and therefore a strong choice for snorkelers.
See the Sataya routeExtended southern programs may also reach Rocky Island and Zabargad. Nevertheless, access there always depends on official permission, weather and the approved sailing plan. Our Red Sea liveaboard guide explains how the routes compare, while redsealiveaboard.net covers the wider Egyptian fleet.
Besides diving, selected departures combine liveaboard accommodation with kitesurfing in remote Red Sea locations. Moreover, these programs are separate from the standard diving itineraries.
Consequently, remote lagoons and open riding areas give far more space than a crowded beach. In addition, experienced riders get longer sessions, while beginners need qualified instruction and a suitable controlled area.
However, every session depends on wind, weather, guest experience and the equipment arranged before departure. Therefore all kite sessions remain subject to the captain’s approval and the trip leader’s safety procedures.
In general, a standard safari runs for seven nights with six diving days. Nevertheless, the captain may reshape the week whenever weather, currents or marine-park rules require it.
To begin with, Saturday is boarding day. After registration, passport and certification checks and cabin allocation, the crew runs the general boat briefing and the safety briefing.
Secondly, on Sunday the vessel departs once port procedures are complete, and the first dive is usually a check dive where you settle weighting and buoyancy. Then, from Monday to Thursday, full days include three or four dives depending on conditions and local rules.
Friday brings two morning dives before the return passage, because the last dive must respect your flight time. Finally, Saturday is breakfast and check-out.
Meanwhile, the kitchen prepares fresh buffets that mix Egyptian and international dishes, and snacks appear between dives. Additionally, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-related requests can usually be supported with advance notice.
Please send dietary details before boarding rather than on arrival. After all, the vessel may spend several days far from ports and shops.
In short, she suits certified divers, underwater photographers, wreck enthusiasts, couples, dive centers and private charter groups. Moreover, her cabin mix makes her one of the easier boats to fill as a club charter.
Naturally, northern and southern reef routes suit a wider range of certified divers. In contrast, offshore itineraries such as Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone are intended for divers comfortable with currents, deep walls and open-water entries.
Naturally, every guest must bring a valid certification, a logbook or digital dive history, passport details, a medical declaration, emergency contact details and insurance covering scuba diving. Additionally, advanced routes ask for more.
Of course, certifications from bodies such as PADI and BSAC are accepted. However, the exact minimum qualification and logged-dive count must be confirmed for your selected departure.
Of course, we operate several vessels on the same Egyptian routes. Therefore the right choice usually comes down to size, cabin layout and the atmosphere you prefer on board.
