Sharm Local Diving

Firstly, the local coastline north and south of Naama Bay offers excellent diving without long navigation. Possible areas include Ras Umm Sid, Temple, Ras Katy, Amphoras, Paradise, Gardens, Tower, Ras Nasrani, Ras Bob and White Knight, although the daily sites depend on weather, currents and diver experience.

Ras Mohammed Day Trip

Meanwhile, at the southern tip of Sinai, Ras Mohammed National Park delivers dramatic walls, healthy coral and impressive marine life. Possible areas include Shark and Yolanda Reef, Jackfish Alley, Ras Ghozlani and Ras Za’atar, depending on the conditions of the day.

Tiran Day Trip

Likewise, the Straits of Tiran lie northeast of Sharm at the entrance to the Gulf of Aqaba. Above all, the area is famous for four offshore reefs, namely Jackson, Thomas, Woodhouse and Gordon, with coral walls, drift diving and clear blue water.

Dahab: Blue Hole and Canyon

Additionally, a special overland excursion travels north to Dahab for two of Egypt’s most recognized diving locations, the Blue Hole as well as the Canyon. Because Dahab is reached by road, this trip starts earlier than a standard diving day.

SS Thistlegorm Wreck Trip

Finally, the legendary SS Thistlegorm can be visited on a special full-day wreck trip for appropriately certified and experienced divers. Because of the distance, pickup is approximately 05:00 to 05:30, whereas the boat departs at about 06:00 to 06:30.

Earlier start by road

Because Dahab is reached overland, that excursion begins earlier, with dive one at the Blue Hole and dive two at the Canyon.

05:00 to 05:30 pickup

Similarly, the wreck trip departs at about 06:00 to 06:30, since the SS Thistlegorm lies well away from Sharm El Sheikh.

Dahab: Blue Hole and Canyon

The Blue Hole is one of Egypt’s most recognized diving locations, and our recreational program follows each diver’s certification and depth limits, so the deep Arch is not part of a normal recreational dive. Afterwards, the Canyon adds a distinctive geological formation completely unlike the reefs around Sharm. Lunch in Dahab is part of the day, and the return time depends on the program, traffic and local conditions.

SS Thistlegorm: two wreck dives

Undoubtedly, Thistlegorm is one of the best-known historic wreck dives in the Red Sea, and it attracts experienced divers from around the world. After a complete wreck-diving briefing, the first dive explores the wreck, whereas the second covers different areas after the surface interval and lunch. Availability depends on weather, sea conditions, diver experience and the operating schedule.
