Our Story

Experience Built in the Red Sea

Red Sea Diving is an Egyptian diving and liveaboard operator based in Hurghada. Above all, our work focuses on helping divers experience the Red Sea through professional organization, experienced dive teams and routes selected around real sea conditions.

From daily diving around Hurghada to multi-day liveaboard expeditions, our operations cover the northern wrecks, Sinai, the offshore marine parks and the Deep South. Moreover we work with individual divers, dive clubs, private groups and full-boat charters.

“A successful Red Sea trip is not only about reaching famous dive sites. It is about good planning, the right vessel, an experienced team and making safe decisions when conditions change.”

Our team includes experienced captains, dive guides and instructors, including CMAS-trained professionals. Therefore we coordinate trips through key Red Sea gateways such as Hurghada, Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam, depending on the route and scheduled itinerary.

What We Do

Four Ways to Dive the Red Sea

Firstly, not every guest wants the same week. Whereas some divers book a full offshore safari, others prefer daily boats, a training course or time on the water with a kite. Accordingly we run four separate programs rather than one.

Liveaboard Safaris

Firstly, seven nights on board with six diving days, covering the northern wrecks, the offshore marine parks and the Deep South. Consequently these trips reach reefs that day boats simply cannot.

Similarly, guided day boats leave from our Hurghada base and return to port each evening. Therefore they suit divers travelling with family, or anyone who prefers a hotel between dives.

Diving Courses

Likewise, courses run from first-time try dives through to advanced levels, taught by CMAS-trained instructors. Meanwhile experienced divers can add speciality training before an offshore week.

Kite Surfing Trips

Finally, kite trips run on the flat shallow lagoons the Egyptian coast is known for. Similarly they run on the same wind windows that shape our diving season, so the two combine well.

Where We Are

Two Red Sea Diving Bases

Because Egypt is long and the diving changes completely between north and south, one office is never enough. Consequently we operate from two bases, and each one opens a different part of the coast.

Main base

Hurghada

Firstly, our main Red Sea base and the departure point for daily diving, courses and most northern and offshore liveaboard routes. Notably, the northern wrecks and the Strait of Gubal sit within easy reach.

  • Daily diving and courses
  • Northern and offshore departures
  • Fleet coordination and logistics
Sinai branch

Sharm El Sheikh

Secondly, our Sinai branch covers Ras Mohammed, the Strait of Tiran and the diving around the southern tip of the peninsula. Similarly it supports the routes that continue north towards Dahab.

  • Ras Mohammed and Tiran diving
  • Sinai and Dahab itineraries
  • Local guiding and transfers

Why We Do It

Our Red Sea Diving Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Firstly, we aim to deliver professional Red Sea diving experiences that combine safety, strong local knowledge, reliable organization and genuine hospitality. In practice that runs from the first inquiry through to the final dive of the trip.

Our Vision

Meanwhile our vision is to give divers access to the best of the Egyptian Red Sea while operating responsibly. Above all that means respecting marine regulations and protecting the reefs and wildlife that make this destination exceptional.

What Drives Us

Our Core Values

Respect for the Red Sea

We encourage responsible diving practices and respect for marine life, reefs and protected areas. Consequently briefings cover conduct as well as depth and time.

Safety First

Dive planning, weather, currents, diver experience and vessel condition are all considered before a route is confirmed. Therefore plans change when the sea says so.

Professional Service

Clear communication, experienced guides and organized onboard service are the standard we work to. Moreover the same team answers before, during and after the trip.

Local Knowledge

Route planning is based on practical knowledge of Red Sea dive sites, sailing distances and seasonal conditions. Indeed, that experience is what twenty years actually buys.

Our Fleet

Liveaboards for Different Groups & Routes

We operate and work with a selection of Red Sea liveaboards suitable for different group sizes, comfort levels and itineraries. However, vessel selection always depends on the scheduled route, group requirements and availability.

Where We Dive

From Hurghada to the Deep South

Our programs can include classic wrecks, protected marine parks, offshore reefs and remote southern systems. Nevertheless the exact route always depends on the liveaboard schedule, permissions, weather and sea conditions. Meanwhile current departure dates are published on redsealiveaboard.net.

FAQ

About Red Sea Diving

Where is Red Sea Diving based?

Our main base is in Hurghada, and in addition we run a branch in Sharm El Sheikh. Consequently we cover both the northern Red Sea and the Sinai dive sites, while our liveaboards also depart from Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam for southern routes.

How long has Red Sea Diving been operating?

We have worked in Red Sea diving for more than twenty years. Therefore our route planning is based on practical experience of sailing distances, seasonal wind patterns and how each reef behaves in different conditions.

What does Red Sea Diving offer?

We run four programs: liveaboard safaris, daily diving, diving courses and kite surfing trips. Moreover the same team coordinates all four, so a group can combine diving and kiting in one visit.

Does Red Sea Diving offer liveaboard trips?

Yes. Our liveaboard safaris run for seven nights with six diving days, covering the northern wrecks, the offshore marine parks and the Deep South. Specifically, boarding is on Saturday afternoon and check-out is the following Saturday morning.

Does Red Sea Diving also offer daily diving?

Yes. Naturally, guided day boats leave from Hurghada and return to port each evening. Accordingly they suit divers who prefer a hotel between dives, or who are travelling with non-diving family.

Can groups charter a complete liveaboard?

Yes. Indeed, dive clubs and private groups regularly charter a full boat, which allows the itinerary to be shaped around the group rather than a fixed schedule. However, a deposit is required to confirm the charter.
